On a personal note, here are a few interesting facts about our team! Steve Hilliard, General Contractor, is a founding member of Phoenix Exterior Solutions and served in the Navy. He has a background in industrial manufacturing, engineering, real estate, and general contracting. Steve is from Oklahoma and knows firsthand how damaging storms can wreak havoc on a roof. Terry Allen spearheads relationships with commercial business owners. As the owner of multiple rental properties himself, he knows the importance of protecting your investment and making wise choices. Terry has a rich history in strategic consulting and government relations. He even served as Chief of Staff for former NFL Hall of Fame U.S. Rep. Steve Largent.

Steve
Steve Hilliard is a founding member of Phoenix Exterior Solutions and holds the General Contractor's license for the firm. Steve brings a wide variety of experience to Phoenix, including time served in the Navy, industrial manufacturing, real estate, engineering, and contracting with an emphasis on renovations. A native of Oklahoma, Steve is no stranger to the damaging effects of severe weather, and the importance of a strict adherence to doing the job right to protect against the elements. There he also studied Civil Engineering and Administrative Leadership at the University of Oklahoma. Steve lives with his wife and 3 children in Huntersville and is a member of Lake Forest Church.
Denny
Denny Barrish is an 11-year veteran of the exterior construction field. He has helped with over 500 renovation projects in that time, and takes pride in treating each project as if it were his own property. Over the years, Denny has developed several key relationships with excellent contractors, suppliers, and insurance agents and adjusters, making use of the depth of trusted relationships to perform a quality job on every project that Phoenix undertakes. Denny lives in Charlotte with his wife and are members of Connect Christian Church. A family business at its core, Denny enjoys working alongside his adult son Tyler, one of Phoenix's Production Managers.
Terry
Terry Allen brings a wealth of experience to Phoenix Exterior Solutions. Allen spearheads Phoenix's Commercial Business Development efforts. As an owner of multiple rental properties, Allen understands the importance of protecting residential and commercial investments. He served for 33 years in the public policy arena, the last ten as founder and president of a strategic consulting and government relations firm representing some of America’s leading companies. Allen served as Chief of Staff for former NFL Hall of Fame wide receiver and U.S. Rep. Steve Largent (R-OK) managing all aspects of the Congressman’s legislative and political agenda. Allen is also recognized as a veteran political strategist. For over two decades he has advised dozens of campaigns throughout the nation and taught campaign schools in the U.S. and internationally. He has played senior roles in political campaigns at all levels. Allen is also a published author. He received his B.A. in Communications in 1986 from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He and his wife Laurie have five grown children and three grandchildren. They live in the Lake Norman area where they attend Grace Covenant Church.
